Such death-threat is possibly by some political powers and influential entities whose interests are lost due to corrupt-related publications, especially the large-scale activities by committees of Popular Shadow Board, affiliating with the PRSF whose preparatory committee is headed by MR. Hashid. The board published detailed reports on corruption prevailed in several ministries of existing government.

Therefore, Almostaqila, represented by its publisher, present the death-threats' notification to all of the public prosecutor, Minister of Interior and Yemen Journalists Syndicate, holding concerned authorities responsible. It further calls upon the journalists syndicate to quickly denounce such threats via notifying these authorities on the subject, as it is so serious and targets their lives.

The paper confirmed that it is only through prosecution that can judge any publication-related complaints, not through death-threats, calling upon all human rights and speech freedom orgs. to strongly fighting such behavior.
